Presence Health Care investing in St. Francis Hosptial in 2013

               Presence Health Care is investing in St. Francis Hospital in Evanston and is planning to make the hospital beds all private and remodeling the hallways and common areas in 2013. After the merger of Resurrection and Provena, the organization decided to relocate their headquarters downtown to 200 S. Wacker Drive, this consolidates offices located in Mokena and the Northwest side of Chicago.

"Presence Health is the largest private employer in the six-county area, with 100 locations.  It is the second-largest health care system in Illinois. Presence Health has 12 Illinois hospitals, 22,000 employees, 4,000 medical professionals and a revenue base of nearly $3 billion. Among the merged company's facilities are Resurrection Medical Center on the Northwest Side, St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, St. Joseph Hospital on the North Side, and Provena hospitals and medical centers in Urbana, Aurora, Elgin, Joliet, Kankakee and Danville."
