Homemade Sign @ Farwell L Viaduct.

That's ingenuity, if you don't have the sign you need, engineer one! Irregular and funky. The left rectangle is a piece of wood painted black and the zigzag is rubber. A 3-D sign that really sticks out and makes you wonder, but it gets the point across. This is at Farwell L viaduct looking west. The south side of the Farwell L embankment is closed (as well as the east side of Glenwood north of Pratt to Farwell) because of the ongoing work on the L substation. This electrical behemoth when finished will  help the L go faster. There will be extensive work on this substation this coming weekend resulting in a lot of noise and power outages, this information was put forth by Joe Moore on his Facebook page.  In case the reader doesn't know, there is a blog whose sole mission is to follow this project. How to build a substation.
