First photo taken 12/28/12. Howard Streetscape still not quite complete, the new streetlights haven't been placed yet as evidenced by the small steel posts sticking up from the ground at regular intervals. With Sol Cafe now on Howard as a great meeting spot for neighbors we are sure that 2013 will be a banner year for Chevanston. Cops have been patrolling Howard regularly and loitering is being monitoring and dealt with. There is a no loitering sign right by Sol Cafe, important to enforce to keep the street safe
If Howard's fortunes are to change after the streetscape, old habits can't be tolerated. Having personally witnessed Morse after its streetscape it takes determination and grit to turn things around even after the landscape has changed.13 has been a lucky number of late for Rogers Park as we were the thirteenth seed in the Curbed Cup Neighborhood of the Year contest and finished runner up.
