Cunneen's Getting Rehabbed

Hopefully Cunneen's will reopen and will retain some of its old charm. Duke's on Glenwood is gone. It would be too much to bear to lose Cunneen's as well. The Old Style Bottles and Cans sign is classic and should remain untouched. Same goes for the old school lettering of Cunneen's inscribed on the the front two windows.  Question posed has been answered by DNAinfo.com at 11 am today (about three and
a half hours after this was posted).

More pics after jumpbreak

Stained glass above the entrance.

Hard to stay out of the picture sometimes.

That was posted at 11am! Who scooped who? ;)

Plus I'm not a full time reporter, this is just a hobby ;)

Plus my outside pics are WAY better!

Here is the Facebook page.

Well it is true its a getting a rehab, they just waited until the ceiling collapsed before getting a move on. Sounds like its long overdue!

@Benji (who is not Benjamin Woodard) how could that be a scoop?

If my job was to be a reporter and I woke up this morning and saw at 7am newly posted a lead on a good story and then investigated it because its my job to do that, then how in the heck is that scooping anyone?

If someone was being decent they would say "Hey thanks for the lead on this story here is a link to my followup on that" instead of just posted it with giving no credit whatsoever.

Of course it could just be a coincidence, either way who cares? If people want to asses that's fine, that's what is to be expected. Trolling is business as usual, to actually be decent and speak on topic? That would be novel.
