How Much Is That Buddha In The Window?

Pictured above (circa March 2013) is the Buddha who once called Sol Cafe (1615 w Howard St.) home. A photo capturing the Buddha's departure from Howard Street was posted to the Ten Thousand Ripples Facebook page June 24th. If you want to outright buy one of these sculptures it will set you back two thousand bucks. Buddha heads ship within fifteen days and each one is custom made. Too rich for your blood? Then buy a raffle ticket for fifty dollars. Winners will be announced July 23rd on the Ten Thousand Ripples website"The purchase of each raffle ticket helps to engage Chicago area artists and communities in nonviolence and arts programming." (Sentence is clumsy. This could be construed as an outreach to get at risk artists involved in something productive to keep them out of trouble?)

Bro I got a dozen bobble head Jesus statues with magnetic bases for only ten bucks each perfect for the dash of your Chevy pickup. Even got a special discount for troubled artists from Uptown if they would share a little bud. Buddha is a muslim thing but Jesus is American.
