Sticker Sign Vandalism In Pilsen Revisited

These photos were taken June 2012. This is the Halsted Metra underpass by 16th street looking north. Stickers had effectively obliterated this important street sign. A little bit of elbow grease and WD-40 and the sign was back to its original state. This was posted to the now defunct Everyblock with the monicker "modern archaelogy" in the Pilsen subforum.  Thought it would be interesting to check up on the North To UIC bicycle sign a year later.

Please continue reading to see the sign one year later

Anyhow....commenting on your graffiti post because for some fluke in android smartphone tech I cannot reply to your comment on my blogpost......weird but true.
I was wondering if you have ever heard of "reverse grafitti", Its not removal you should google it.

I propose:

Chevanston and Uptown Arts do a joint post on reverse graffiti and solicit ideas from our communities for ideal locations.

Cool idea, worth looking into.

Yeah Dynamic Views is okay, but it is not user friendly and still has alot of bugs.
