Brick Wall On Howard Makes It Big
The following is from an email sent to Chevanston June 4th concerning a photo from this article.
Dear sir:
I am designing a production of "Annie" for a community theater company in Minnesota (BlackDirtTheater.com), and I came across your photo (https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvMOJBc3v2aRPeuHslVu4RVAiSt8Spedf4vQwDF90enfZpDHLhzHtMo-M1b3mBrIqLvX0FwZsX9GpazEHSTtbuv9IxbF_zTrAVLCCOP3Fb0n383gf3aZrcCVJoW_mPtr7cH3PESX6lwg/s1600/1-31-13+088.JPG).

I was wondering if I could have permission to use the image as the basis for a painted backdrop. the texture is amazing, and the composition works well. I would be cropping out the grass and cinderblocks and shifting the colors around, but the concept was photographs so I wanted photographic sources to keep me honest (and, let's be honest, lazy).
I realize it's not strictly necessary to get permission in this case, but I like to do all my designs on the up and up.
Smiles,
John Lutz
