Maddiebird Bakery at 1445 w Devon Avenue still has the same old advertising from last year.
According to recent announcements on Facebook the bakery is supposed to open this month for real.
Maddiebird bakery got their start at Metropolis Coffee on Granville.
The store is a "small cake design studio & cupcake shop".
Prices reflect level of work involved and craftsmanship. The intricately designed cakes range from 3.50 for a cupcake up to two hundred or so dollars for a two tiered cake.
Maddiebird is on the Edgewater side of Devon Avenue. A snowball throw south of Rogers Park.
