Not Po Po

Please continue reading for more pictures
(pictures cropped so as to maintain privacy, best license plate seen in awhile)

Almost as cool as the Sexcalade (Joe Runge's has been looking much better of late too).

I remember working in Lake Forest a few years back this guy with a sharp black Corvette had plates: "NOT MJ".
How come Helen said she won't comment on your blog JeffO? Don't be like UU in that way, alienating the good people.

Hey Jeff. Wrong post to ask in but rather than scroll way back, what's the USPS mailbox paint color you use? What type of blue? Spray or roll on? Lots of vandalism in my corner of the neighborhood lately and I would like to go out an cover as much up as possible. The blue Allied dumpsters in alleys keep getting tagged too and it's probably not the same as the mailboxes color but closer than the weird green that graffiti buster uses to cover it up. Let me know... Thanks!

@John, I think its Royal Blue, Im looking for some today and will let you know later on,

It is harder to get an exact match with blues because they are either dark navy blue or a lighter safety blue type color.

Mailboxes are key IMHO. Sorry to hear about the vandalism John. I usually just spray it on, but will see what colors are available in roll on as well.

@JeffreyLittleton, I try not to alienate Helen or anyone, I know she lurks and sometimes posts under a pseudonym here, she is welcome to post anytime :)

If you can scrape off a blue chip of paint say a matchbook size or bigger they can match it at Sherwin-Williams or another paint supply.o
A quart of paint will go a long way, keep a setup with a cigar roller good to go.
I don't make a big deal out of it but I've covered up my share of Uptown grafttti. But I am no Jeffo by any means.....;)

@John, I got gloss deep blue from rustoleum spray paint, that looks to be a pretty close match, will let you know how it looks.

Blues are tricky, just like yellows are.

Actually its BRITE BLUE spray paint at Ace Hardware looks to be the exact shade of mailbox blue.

Its one shade darker than Royal Blue or Deep Blue and one shade lighter than Navy Blue.

BRITE BLUE, not a great name for the color, it should be MAILBOX BLUE.
