Applejack Demands Buddha Head Coverage

Buddha Head @ Farwell Pier Prairie

Other Buddha heads are emerging in Rogers Park. One by Heartland Cafe, another at Morse and Glenwood and one by Loyola University at Sheridan and Albion. Many yet to be placed. Does any know of any other Buddha heads in Rogers Park or nearby? Photo was submitted to the blog by Applejack. For more information on this project check out the Ten Thousand Ripples Website.

Aaargh. It's an old Pirate trick. Bury them in sand up to their nose and wait for high tide to come in. Har, har, har.

Applesauce is a coward who didn't do anything while a puppy was being abused in Loyola Park. She's just as bad as the abusers.

looks like Internet Explorer is starting to get the handle of dynamic views or atleast the other way around. Come Now Craig you havent answered the allegations of your bashing the doggies park at Pott Park. What can we do to make that a better park? Im sure it wouldve been a better place now if thats where you have bought a condo instead of morse.

Jeff-O, the dog park is so hidden in the back of the park - in a park that is so depressing to go to, it doesn't serve Rogers Park well. While the cause is all noble, and the dog park itself is really well designed, the majority of dog owners and their pets are so tired by the time they get there, doesn't make it worth people's time to get there.

I challenge you to go there on any given day, spend a few hours, and count the number of people who use that dog park. I can tell you by my visits, the numbers don't equate to the dollars spent for the park to be built.

And, I highly doubt I would've ever started a Winchester Hellhole blog. Hence, I don't think I would've had any impact at all.

But thanks for thinking I might've. You made my day.

Oh, and staying on-topic as to not being banned by Jeff-O. Rotten Apple sure did take a pretty photo of Buddha by the Lake. I'll give the cowardly neighbor credit for that.

I wont ban people unless they are being TOO negative or just out and out offensive.
I wasnt there and dont know what happened, obviously one can see that maintaining a site
with some civility is important and things can get heated on the net because you arent talking face to face, I also want people to say what they feel about stuff, as that is not possible in everyblock or alot of the internet.

Thanks for the feedback Craig, I think you wouldve made a site about Winchester still.
It wouldve been the Broken Heart of Pott. Park!!! Sounds like I will have to make a trip to Pott. Park to see what all the fuss is about!!
