Well, it is still frozen. Bundle up and come to the Jargowood meeting next Tuesday - see notice attached - and agenda - page down please so you find the agenda.
We could talk about the weather, ice dams, potholes, the gas company and street repairs, basements flooding, roofs leaking, gutters and downspouts cracked, Mardi Gras, St Pat's Day and so forth.
Summer will come one day - and we should be aware of possible increased neighborhood crime - take note of abandoned cars and vacant property. take steps to light up your front porch and also perhaps your back yard and the area behind your garage - report graffiti. The Rogers Park Garden Group will no doubt have a spring sale with plants and things, but you will probably still have frozen gardens in May!
If you want a garden spot at Ashland and Howard, you can inquire at the Ward Service Office.
